GralGlas glassworks (1930 – 1995) was founded by Karl Seyfang and his son Rolf Seyfang in 1930 in Dürnau of Germany and in a short span of two decades, developed a reputation for quality with designers such as Josef Stadler, Emil Funke and Karl Seyfang. “For almost half of the 20th century, German manufacturer Gralglas belonged to the international elite of glass design. Aware of its own high standards, the manufacturer gave itself the name Gral alluding to the life-giving grail. Indeed, between the 1930s and 1980s, many designs of Gralglas easily competed with the world’s best glass products.”
