Vintage crystal mid century 70s Mäntsälän Lasisepät TERÄLEHTI (‘Petal’ in English) Candle Holder By Pertti Kallioinen. Pertti Kallioinen was well known for his centrifugal design work and often had his molds manufactured at several different glass factories. Eventually when he was finished with the molds they were sold out of country. Many of his designs are found from an Italian glass company with Italy stamped in the bottom and the forms are not as detailed as the originals.
Terälehti items were designed by Pertti Kallioinen. There are Terälehti items in many size, colours and forms, but this little one is the most common of them. Maybe it is the only official Terälehti, as those others simply have no names even the shapes of them resemble this item. Mäntsälä did not always give names for their items, because they made a lot of different items looking almost the same.
